Meet the Coaches that make it all happen.

Alyssa Pronley (Head Coach)

Alyssa is a Senior Associate at Baker Botts LLP, where her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation for technology, media/entertainment, and telecommunications companies. Alyssa is a graduate of NYU School of Law and Loyola University Chicago, where she was a four-year competitor on the mock trial team and earned an All-American Attorney award. Alyssa has coached mock trial at both the high school and college levels since 2012, and she has been head coach of the Fordham LC Mock Trial program since the 2020-2021 season.

Olatokunbo Olaniyan
(Assistant Coach)

Olatokunbo Olaniyan works as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York where she handles a wide variety of cases including national security, fraud, organized crime and firearms prosecutions. Prior to joining the United States government, Olatokunbo worked for 11 years as Senior Trial Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office where she handled homicide and sexual assault prosecutions. Olatokunbo is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law where she received the New York State Bar Association Tiffany Cup Award, New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers Excellence in Advocacy Award and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Tournament of Champions Best Advocate Award. Olatokunbo has been an Assistant Mock Trial Coach since 2013.

Thomas Vorsteg (Assistant Coach)

Thomas Vorsteg is an actor from Verona, NJ, who is thrilled to join the coaching staff for his 6th season. While an undergraduate, he competed on the Fordham LC Mock Trial team as both an attorney and a witness and won numerous awards. After graduating with degrees in History and Political Science, Thomas was an assistant coach for three seasons. He then earned his Masters of Science in Education from Bank Street College and worked as a bilingual public school teacher before transitioning careers. Thomas lives in the Bronx with his twin brother.

Chehak Gogia

(Assistant Coach)

Chehak Gogia is a second year law student at Fordham University School of Law. There, she is an active part of the Trial Advocacy team, and is a member of the Fordham Law Review, Moot Court, and the Dispute Resolution Society. She competed for New York University’s Mock Trial team from 2016–2019 as both an attorney and a witness. Chehak has been coaching Fordham LC’s Mock Trial team since Fall 2020.
