Meet the Coaches that make it all happen.
Alyssa Pronley (Head Coach)
Alyssa is an entertainment and intellectual property litigator. She is a graduate of NYU School of Law and Loyola University Chicago, where she was a four-year competitor on the mock trial team and earned an All-American Attorney award. Alyssa has coached mock trial at both the high school and college levels since 2012, and she has been head coach of the Fordham LC Mock Trial program since 2020.
Thomas Vorsteg
(Assistant Coach)
Thomas Vorsteg is an actor from Verona, NJ, who is thrilled to join the coaching staff for his 9th season. While an undergraduate, he competed on the Fordham LC Mock Trial team as both an attorney and a witness and won numerous awards. After graduating with degrees in History and Political Science, Thomas was an assistant coach for three seasons. He then earned his Masters of Science in Education from Bank Street College and worked as a bilingual public school teacher before transitioning careers. Thomas lives in the Bronx with his twin brother.
Anna Mizzi
(Assistant Coach)
Anna is an Associate at WilmerHale, where her practice focuses primarily on trial litigation for both commercial and pro-bono clients. Anna competed on mock trial teams throughout law school at The George Washington University Law School, and undergrad at The American University. She has coached at Fordham LC since the 2021-2022 season.
Fiona Danyko
(Assistant Coach)
Fiona (FCLC '20) was a member of Fordham LC Mock Trial, where she competed from 2016-2019, including at Nationals twice. She is a former teacher, and currently works in expert network consulting. She is excited to coach to help students develop critical thinking skills and become excellent competitors. Outside of Mock Trial, Fiona spends her time reading, writing, running, and talking about Taylor Swift. She started coaching Fordham LC Mock in 2022.
Ava Vecellio (Assistant Coach)
Ava Vecellio works at Akin Gump as a law clerk in the financial restructuring practice group. She was involved in mock trial in both law school and undergraduate at New York University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, board games, and watching Formula 1.
